Childsmile Scotland is reducing inequalities in oral health
The Childsmile programme is reducing oral health inequalities and ensuring access to dental services for every child across Scotland. The interim demonstration phase began in 2008 and involved rolling out a fully integrated Childsmile model (Core, Practice, Nursery and School) by 2011 across all 14 NHS Board areas, divided into East, West and North regions, for more information go to http://www.child-smile.org.uk
Childsmile Scotland has been successful in reducing oral health inequalities, and is generating wealth of data, that should be available for shared learning with Smile for Life, England, launched at Health and Care Innovation Expo2016, Sept 7th 2016.
